The Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the annual trail cycle grant awards totaling $12,315. Grants awarded in this cycle are funded by the Lena & Fred Meijer Charitable Fund.

The 2024 grants include: 

  • $6,000 to the City of Greenville for trail boardwalk maintenance and brush clearing 
  • $6,315 to the Friends of the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail for sealcoating and repair 

Funding in this cycle is specifically for Fred Meijer trails in Montcalm County (Fred Meijer Heartland Trail, Fred Meijer Flat River Trail, Fred Meijer River Valley Trail, and Fred Meijer White Pine Trail) with projects that need financial support. 

The Greenville Area Community Foundation exists to enhance the quality of life in the Greenville Area. Since its inception in 1989, GACF has grown to encompass the entire Montcalm County area through our geographic affiliates, the Lakeview Area Community Fund and the Montcalm Panhandle Community Fund.
