The Greenville Youth Advisory Council (GYAC) is looking for new members for the 2023-2024 school year. GYAC is a youth led organization that works to improve our community and empower youth. GYAC assists the community through grants and forms of service. Members assess the needs of youth in our community, then recommend where money could best be spent to fit those needs.
GYAC Member Expectations:
- Attend monthly meetings typically held one Sunday each month September – May from 6 pm – 8 pm.
- Actively participate in meetings.
- Actively participate in the grant process.
- Commit to planning and implementing service projects
- Clear communication (spoken and written using complete thoughts, punctuation, spelling)
- Active communication
