The Lakeview Area Community Fund (LACF) Advisory Committee and the Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees are pleased to announce $26,251 in grants awarded to the greater Lakeview community. The 2026 grants include:
- $5,032 to the Village of Lakeview Pocket Park Upgrade, supported by the LACF Unrestricted Fund and the Ellafrits Family Community Fund
- $4,723.50 to the Village of Lakeview USA World Ice Fishing Event, supported by LACF Unrestricted Fund
- $4,404 to the Lakeview Area Museum, supported by the Lena Rader Meijer Fund and the Padden Family Fund
- $2,650 to the Village of Lakeview Veteran’s Monument Flag, supported by the Lena Rader Meijer Fund and the Ellafrits Family Community Fund
- $4,723.50 to the Lakeview Community Schools Athletic Trainer, supported by the LACF Unrestricted Fund
- $4,718 to the Lakeview Community Schools Yearbook and Media classes, supported by the LACF Unrestricted Fund, the Padden Family Fund, and the LACF Youth Fund
Grant awards were announced during the annual LACF Community Dinner on October 21. Additionally, the 2025 Quality-of-Life Award was presented to Kevin Griffith for his dedication to the Lakeview community.
The mission of the Lakeview Area Community Fund is to enhance the quality of life in the Lakeview area by providing community-focused grants.
