The Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees are pleased to announce annual grant awards funded by the Lena & Fred Meijer Charitable Fund Cycle. Trails in Montcalm County with the Meijer name are eligible for funding. Grant awards for this cycle total $16,000.

The 2025 grants include:

• $8,000 to the City of Greenville for boardwalk and railing repair on the Fred Meijer Flat River Trail
• $6,000 to the Friends of the Fred Meijer Heartland Trail for repair and resealing
• $2,000 to the City of Greenville for developing a trail map and brochure

The Greenville Area Community Foundation exists to enhance the quality of life in the Greenville Area. Since its inception in 1989, GACF has grown to encompass the entire Montcalm County area through our geographic affiliates, the Lakeview Area Community Fund and the Montcalm Panhandle Community Fund.
