The Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees has awarded $63,897 in grants to programs providing healthcare services to children in Montcalm County. Grants were supported by the Meijer Children’s Health Care Fund and are reviewed by a committee of health professionals and community members.

The 2024 grants include:

  • $7,527 to the Corewell Health Foundation West Michigan Child Passenger Safety Program
  • $10,000 to the Montcalm Area Intermediate School District MCGSC Community Baby Shower
  • $20,000 to the Michigan Center for 21st Century Teaching IM Kids 3rd Meal Program
  • $26,370 to the Montcalm Prevention Collaborative Pre-Prom

A Field of Interest fund, the Meijer Children’s Health Care Fund was established in 2005 to support healthcare services for disadvantaged children living in Montcalm County. The Fund has granted over $700,000 to community organizations.
