Over eleven million dollars has been given back to the Greenville area and Montcalm County in the form of grants and scholarships from the GACF and it’s affiliates – the Greenville Youth Advisory Council (GYAC), the Lakeview Area Community Fund (LACF) and it’s youth group the Lakeview Youth Advisory Council (LYAC) and the Montcalm Panhandle Community Fund (MPCF).

Fall GYAC Grant Cycle

For all area non-profits (within Montcalm County) with programs or projects that fall within the identified needs of area youth. This includes but is not limited to substance abuse, poor performance in school, confidence & self-esteem issues in girls, health & wellness issues, teen driver safety, teen pregnancy, hunger or food insecurity, dating violence, access to recreation and homelessness.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 6, 2017

DECISION: DECEMBER 2017
FUNDING AVAILABLE: JANUARY 2018

Spring GACF Educational Grant Cycle

This cycle is specifically for area non-profits (within Montcalm County but not including public school systems) that have programs with a strong educational component. All grants will be awarded from the Grace Sagendorf Fund and/or the Sagendorf Opportunities for Success Fund. If you are on staff at Greenville Public Schools, grants are available. Please contact Chief Academic Officer, Michelle Blaszczynski for instructions specific to GPS (including different deadlines).

APPLICATION DEADLINE:  FEBRUARY 23, 2018

DECISION: APRIL 16, 2018
FUNDING AVAILABLE:  Immediately

Lena & Fred Meijer Trail Fund Grant Cycle

This grant cycle is specifically for Fred Meijer Trails in Montcalm County (Fred Meijer Flat River Trail, Fred Meijer Heartland Trail, and Fred Meijer White Pine Trail) with projects that need financial support.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 12, 2018

DECISION: MAY 21, 2018
FUNDING AVAILABLE: Immediately after decision
