(Greenville) – The Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees has awarded grants totaling $62,431 to programs providing healthcare services to children in Montcalm County. Grants were supported by the Meijer Children’s Health Care Fund and are reviewed by a committee of health professionals and community members.

The 2025 grants include:

  • $20,000 to IM Kids 3rd Meal program
  • $1,912 to the Alpha Family Services for cribs and mattresses
  • $10,000 to the Montcalm Area ISD Montcalm County Community Baby Shower
  • $12,700 to the Montcalm Prevention Collaborative Pre Prom
  • $2,819 to the We Care for Kids Council Protect Yourself materials
  • $15,000 to the Corewell Health Child Passenger Safety Program

A Field of Interest fund, the Meijer Children’s Health Care Fund was established in 2005 to support healthcare services for disadvantaged children living in Montcalm County. The Fund has granted over $700,000 to community organizations.

The Greenville Area Community Foundation exists to enhance the quality of life in the Greenville Area.
