The Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees has awarded grants totaling $62,529 to programs providing healthcare services to children in Montcalm County. Grants were supported by the Meijer Children’s Health Care Fund and are reviewed by a committee of health professionals and community members.
The 2026 grants include:
- $12,800 to the Montcalm Prevention Collaborative Pre Prom
- $4,729 to the Alpha Family Services for cribs, mattresses, sheets, and car seats
- $15,000 to the Montcalm Area ISD Montcalm County Community Baby Shower
- $10,000 to the Mid-Michigan Health Department Lead Mitigation program
- $20,000 to the IM Kids 3rd Meal program
A Field of Interest fund, the Meijer Children’s Health Care Fund was established in 2005 to support healthcare services for disadvantaged children living in Montcalm County. The fund has granted over $700,000 to community organizations.
The Greenville Area Community Foundation exists to enhance the quality of life in the Greenville Area.
