(Greenville) – The Greenville Youth Advisory Council (GYAC) and the Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees are pleased to announce grants totaling $66,774 for local nonprofit. Grants are awarded from the Kellogg Youth Fund.

The 2025 GYAC Cycle grants include:

  • $3,341 to the Greenville Public Schools Iron Jackets Strength Program
  • $15,000 to the Greenville Middle School Basketball Hoops
  • $500 to the Education Foundation of Greenville Yellow Jacket Challenge
  • $10,000 to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation 2025 Toy Distribution
  • $3,265 to the Greenville Public School Softball Pitching Machine
  • $951.73 to Greenville Public Schools for Youth Volleyball Equipment
  • $1,000 to the Greenville High Science Olympiad Team for program expansion
  • $1,200 to the Greenville Youth Softball & Baseball League for field maintenance equipment
  • $2,500 to the Gospel Army Student Black History Group Reenactment Program
  • $6,400 to the Greenville Public Schools Chinese Immersion Program Booster Group
  • $2,252.22 to the Greenville Middle School Strength and Conditioning Equipment
  • $4,000 to the Greenville Area Recreation & Community Center HCAT Historical Documentary
  • $1,065 to the Greenville High School Media Center Dynamic Shelving and Makerspace Project
  • $11,000 to For Goodness Sake Holiday Helpers Program
  • $2,500 to the Greenville High School Post Prom Event
  • $1,000 to the Greenville Rotary Club/ Lions Club Spring Break Food Baskets
  • $800 to the Greenville Public Schools EmpowHer Program

The mission of the Greenville Youth Advisory Council (GYAC) is to make a difference by empowering youth, enhancing life, and enriching the community. Established in 1993, GYAC provides real life philanthropy experiences for members through grantmaking and community engagement.
