LAKEVIEW AREA COMMUNITY FUND AWARDS OVER $29,000 FOR 2023

(Greenville) – The Lakeview Area Community Fund (LACF) Advisory Committee and the Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees are pleased to announce grants totaling $29,831. Awards were announced at the annual Lakeview Area Community Dinner. The 2023 grants include:

$4,355 to the Lakeview Area Veteran’s Monument

$9,030 to the Village of Lakeview Community Garden

$4,320 to the MAISD Imagination Library

$3,000 to the Lakeview Area Museum

$9,126 to the Lakeview Community Wellness Center

These grants were supported by the LACF Unrestricted Fund, the Lena Rader Meijer Fund, the Padden Family Fund, the Martin LCWC Fund, and the Leppink LCWC Fund.

Grants were announced during the annual LACF Community Dinner. Additionally, the Quality-of-Life Award was presented to Luanne Koester, a dedicated volunteer for many years at the Lakeview Community Wellness Center.

The mission of the Lakeview Area Community Fund is to enhance the quality of life in the Lakeview area by providing community-focused grants.
