MONTCALM PANHANDLE COMMUNITY FUND AWARDS OVER $6,000 FOR 2023

(Greenville) – The Montcalm Panhandle Community Fund (MPCF) Advisory Committee and the Greenville Area Community Foundation (GACF) Board of Trustees are pleased to announce a $6,090 grant awarded to the Lakeview District Fire Department, Station 2, located in Trufant, MI. This grant will provide funding for extrication struts and cribbing upgrades, vital tools used for vehicle stabilization after a crash. The Montcalm Panhandle Community Unrestricted Fund supported this grant.

“The 2023 grant awards have pushed the historic level of grants from the General Fund of the Montcalm Panhandle to more than $92,000,” shared Fred C. Plath, MPCF Advisory Committee Chair. This fund serves the four townships of Winfield, Reynolds, Pierson, and Maple Valley and the communities therein.”
