Upcoming Grant Deadlines for 2016 Funding

SPRING EDUCATIONAL GRANT CYCLE

This cycle is specifically for area non-profits (within Montcalm County but not including public school systems) that have programs with a strong educational component. All grants will be awarded from the Grace Sagendorf Education Fund and/or the Sagendorf Opportunities for Success and Carl Barberi Caring for Kids Funds.

LARGE GRANT SUPPORTS IMPORTANT GREENVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOL INITIATIVE A large, $90,000 grant was awarded to Greenville Public Schools in support of the school district’s Chinese Language and Culture Program. The grant was used to aid in the expansion of the program into a second-grade classroom and additional support for the elective Middle/High School program. The grant was awarded from the Grace Sagendorf Education Fund.
